Purpose and Scope

Falcon Stars Group Ltd will plan proportionately for disruption to its administration, communications and supply activities. Our priorities are people and product safety, protection of essential information, clear customer communication and controlled recovery. This policy supports PR-002 risk and change management.

Risks and Ownership

The Managing Director owns continuity planning and will assess director unavailability, IT or data loss, cyber incidents, supplier or logistics disruption, customs delays, utilities failure, severe weather and urgent product-safety communications. Significant risks, actions and changes will be recorded and reviewed. Specialist support will be sought when needed.

Practical Preparation

Continuity arrangements will identify essential activities, contact details, access requirements, records needed for traceability, communication priorities and recovery actions. Essential business information must be protected with appropriate access controls and recoverable backups. Backup and recovery arrangements will be checked proportionately to their importance. Support for director unavailability must be appropriately authorised, with access limited to what is necessary; no individual may assume authority merely because the director is unavailable.

Responding to Disruption

The Managing Director, or a formally authorised person, will assess the impact, make activities safe, protect records and decide recovery priorities. We will tell affected customers and providers about material disruption, available information and realistic next steps. Urgent safety notifications and affected-product controls take priority over routine work. We will keep a record of key decisions and actions.

Alternative Arrangements

Alternative suppliers, systems or logistics arrangements must be assessed and authorised before use. Product conformity, traceability, confidentiality and regulatory obligations must not be bypassed to restore service. We will not promise uninterrupted supply or substitute products without the necessary checks and customer agreement where required.

Recovery and Review

Recovery will be checked before normal service resumes, including relevant data, outstanding orders and safety actions. Lessons from incidents and proportionate exercises or checks will be used to update risks and arrangements. This policy will be reviewed after significant disruption or business change and at least annually.

Document Control

Controlled procedures: PR-002 Context, Risks, Opportunities, Objectives and Change; PR-004; PR-007.

Reviewed at least annually and following significant changes or relevant incidents. Initial issue: Version 1.0, 2 October 2026.
