NHS Evergreen Level 2: Falcon Stars Group Ltd completed the NHS Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment and achieved Level 2 for 2026/27.

Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

Falcon Stars Group Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or earlier across Scope 1, Scope 2 and all relevant Scope 3 categories for all operations under its operational control worldwide. At the date of this plan, the company operates only in the United Kingdom and has no non-UK subsidiaries, offices, warehouses, vehicle fleet or other operational sites. Any future operations worldwide will be included from the date Falcon Stars Group Ltd obtains operational control.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

The organisational boundary is global and follows the operational-control approach. During the baseline period, the complete worldwide operational footprint of Falcon Stars Group Ltd was located in the United Kingdom. Activity was limited to home-office administration. There were no product purchases or imports, inventory, product sales, courier or freight movements, warehousing, company-controlled fuel or electricity, business travel or material capital purchases.

The company had one formal full-time equivalent employee. Three people contributed working time to business activity during the baseline period; this carbon-activity basis is separate from formal headcount reporting. Combined working time was 4,140 hours, calculated as 90 hours per week for 46 working weeks, and was used to estimate homeworking emissions.

The baseline year and current reporting year are both 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 because this is the company’s first quantified Carbon Reduction Plan. The approved baseline inventory is retained until a recalculation is required under the GHG Protocol.

Emission source Baseline emissions tCO2e Current reporting year tCO2e
Scope 1 0.000 0.000
Scope 2 0.000 0.000
Scope 3 – all relevant categories 1.382 1.382
Total emissions 1.382 1.382

Methodology and Reporting Boundary

  • The inventory follows the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard and the Corporate Value Chain Scope 3 Standard, using applicable UK Government greenhouse-gas conversion factors.
  • Scope 1 and Scope 2 were zero because the company had no controlled fuel combustion, vehicle fleet or separately metered purchased energy.
  • All 15 GHG Protocol Scope 3 categories were screened for relevance. Category 7, employee commuting and homeworking, was the only category with measurable activity in the reporting period.
  • A category is reported as 0.000 tCO2e where the activity did not occur. A category is described as not applicable where the business model did not create that source during the reporting period.
  • The net-zero target covers all relevant Scope 3 categories, including categories that currently report zero and any category that becomes relevant as trading begins.

Scope 3 Relevance Assessment

The assessment below covers every GHG Protocol Scope 3 category for the baseline and current reporting period. It records the activity status, the reported emissions and how the category is treated within the company’s net-zero target.

No Scope 3 category Assessment for 2025 to 2026 tCO2e Target
1 Purchased goods and services No products, inventory or material physical goods or services were purchased for trading. Routine home-office activity is represented through the homeworking calculation in Category 7; no separate measurable Category 1 activity was identified. 0.000 Included
2 Capital goods No material equipment, vehicles, premises assets or other capital goods were purchased. 0.000 Included
3 Fuel and energy related activities No company-controlled fuel or separately purchased electricity was used. Home energy associated with working time is reported in Category 7. 0.000 Included
4 Upstream transportation and distribution No products were purchased or imported and no inbound freight or courier movements occurred. 0.000 Included
5 Waste generated in operations No company-controlled operational waste stream or warehouse activity existed. 0.000 Included

8 Upstream leased assets No leased warehouse, vehicle, plant or separately controlled leased premises energy existed. 0.000 Included
9 Downstream transportation and distribution No products were sold or dispatched and no outbound freight or courier movements occurred. 0.000 Included

Corporate and Manufacturer Evidence Separation

This is a corporate Carbon Reduction Plan for Falcon Stars Group Ltd. Manufacturer-owned operations, manufacturer certificates and product-specific environmental or lifecycle data remain separate and are not presented as Falcon Stars Group Ltd evidence. Relevant value-chain emissions will be incorporated into future corporate reporting when procurement, imports and distribution begin and reliable activity data are available. Records will remain traceable to each manufacturer and will not be combined across manufacturers.

Emissions Reduction Targets

Falcon Stars Group Ltd will work towards a 100 percent absolute reduction in Scope 1, Scope 2 and all relevant Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or earlier across its global operational-control boundary, measured against the 2025 to 2026 baseline. Categories currently reporting zero remain within the target. Any newly relevant source will be recorded from the reporting period in which activity begins, with material boundary changes and any required baseline recalculation disclosed transparently.

Carbon Reduction Projects and Measures

Measures Already in Effect

  • Home-based working and virtual meetings are used where operationally appropriate.
  • Business travel is avoided unless necessary for customer, supplier, clinical or regulatory activity.
  • Digital records, quotations and presentations are used to reduce paper and delivery impacts.
  • No company vehicle fleet, warehouse or separately controlled premises energy is currently operated.
  • Corporate carbon records are retained separately from manufacturer-owned product and regulatory records.

Planned Measures

  • Review all 15 Scope 3 categories and publish the Carbon Reduction Plan annually using the latest complete reporting year.
  • Record product procurement, imported weight, country of origin, freight mode, distance, packaging, inbound and outbound distribution activity from the start of trading.
  • Request relevant emissions and environmental information from each manufacturer while preserving manufacturer-specific document separation.
  • Prefer lower-carbon logistics, consolidated deliveries and recyclable or reduced packaging where clinically and commercially appropriate.
  • Assess any new premises, fleet, warehouse, overseas operation or material purchased service immediately and add it to the global boundary.
  • Set quantified interim reduction targets once sufficient comparable activity data are available.

Declaration and Approval

This Version 2.1 plan has been prepared to support NHS procurement and the Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment. It supersedes Version 2.0 only when it has been signed, dated and published by Falcon Stars Group Ltd.

The emissions inventory covers the full global organisational boundary under operational control. The baseline footprint is wholly UK-based because no operations outside the United Kingdom existed during the reporting period.

Signing below confirms that this Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and approved at board level and that Falcon Stars Group Ltd will review and publish it at least annually.
