Falcon Stars Group Ltd is a UK-based SME focused on surgical, dental and specialist medical instruments and healthcare supply. Although the company is not currently required to publish a modern slavery statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, it has chosen to publish this statement voluntarily as part of its commitment to responsible and ethical business conduct.
Falcon Stars Group Ltd has zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, child labour and other forms of exploitation within its own operations and supply chains.
Falcon Stars Group Ltd trades as Falcon Stars Healthcare, with a UK sales and administration office. Its healthcare supply chain includes Falcon Spain International in Sialkot, Pakistan, and relevant manufacturers and outsourced service providers. Supplier and manufacturing responsibilities remain subject to documented due diligence and appropriate controls.
The company recognises that modern slavery risk can vary by geography, sector, labour model and tier of supply. Its current supply-chain mapping focuses on direct (Tier 1) suppliers and will be expanded as trading activity develops.
Responsibility for modern slavery and ethical sourcing sits with the Director of Falcon Stars Group Ltd. The company will review modern slavery risks as part of supplier selection, onboarding and periodic supplier review.
Falcon Stars Group Ltd is developing a proportionate risk-based approach to supplier due diligence.
– Maintain records of direct suppliers, manufacturing locations and principal supply routes.
– Consider country, sector and labour-related risks when selecting and reviewing suppliers.
– Seek relevant information on labour practices, ethical sourcing and compliance where proportionate to risk.
– Escalate credible concerns and reconsider or suspend a supplier relationship where serious concerns cannot be satisfactorily addressed.
– Use the UK Government Modern Slavery Assessment Tool (MSAT) and resulting recommendations to strengthen controls.
The company has adopted a Modern Slavery & Ethical Sourcing Policy. Suppliers and business partners are expected to comply with applicable labour and human-rights laws and to avoid forced labour, trafficking, child labour and abusive recruitment practices.
As the business grows, Falcon Stars Group Ltd will provide proportionate awareness and guidance to personnel involved in procurement, supplier management and logistics so that concerns can be recognised and escalated appropriately.
During the next review period, Falcon Stars Group Ltd intends to strengthen its supplier due-diligence records, complete and review its MSAT recommendations, improve supply-chain mapping where proportionate, and review whether additional contractual or supplier-assurance measures are appropriate.
Any concern relating to modern slavery or unethical labour practices should be reported promptly to the Director through the company’s normal contact channels. Concerns will be considered confidentially and escalated as appropriate.
This voluntary statement will be reviewed at least annually and updated as Falcon Stars Group Ltd’s operations and supply chains develop.
